1st of all, how come an engineering student even remotely believe in an area as controversial as astrology? Isnt it nonsensical? Well, the solution to the query lies in the mishaps in the life of the blogger and how they changed his thought process, mindset and how astrology helped him in coming out of that particular bad phase in life.
It is not being claimed here that Astro is an exact science like physics or botany, nonetheless it too has its roots in ancient Indian scriptures including VEDAS which were formulated by damn intelligent people. Indian astrology is more like an integral part of the lives of the people of this country over thousands of years. Can you imagine any marriage or other important ritual taking place without finding out the auspiscious Muhurta? Ours is a country of believers and we inherently believe in Karma and other such divinely things. I can definitely say, from experience, that gem stones do help in rectifying problems.
I am not claiming that since they can provide some help during crises so we should be completely dependent on them. Rather, do your duty sincerely, and if you wish for some divine help and good luck, try them. They can cause some good. But dont become dependent on them. That may prove harmful.
